Don’t worry! We don’t think any of these puppies would be a “pour” decision! We think they’re worth a shot! Meet Paloma, Brandy, Stoli, Patron, Tito and Skyy! These six cuties are as cute as they are tiny. This past weekend, Animal Care Services pleaded to their rescue partners to take in this litter of Chihuahuas, and it didn’t take long for our very own veterinary technician to step up as a foster. Within 30 minutes of ACS’ plea, she was in their parking lot, and within one hour, they were in her home as her new foster babies. Affectionately named after their licking habits, they were each assigned a clever “liquor” name. These tiny tots are cuddly, confident and CUTE! In a foster home where they are exposed to every animal species you could think of, they are getting ALL the socialization! From other dogs to cats, birds and even reptiles, these puppies have seen it all. This girl typically starts her day in a snuggle puddle. Her favorite foster sibling to curl up with is miss Lena. Lena is also available for adoption through her foster, Mimi!
Next, it’s time to eat a nutritious breakfast (not pictured 😜).
Then, Ruffles catches a few morning sniffs in the backyard with the rest of her foster siblings. A sploot in the grass always follows.

FRIDAY FEEL GOOD STORY!!!🎊🐩🐕⭐️ Remember our beloved Lady, the Chihuahua that has been battling a systemic case of mast cell tumors. Well she is still living her best life after being diagnosed with this crummy disease nearly 9 months ago. While we haven’t been able to find her a forever adopter, we do have a team of warrior fosters that have poured their heart and soul into caring for this special doggo making sure she gets her daily meds and makes it to her monthly vet appointments. Special thanks to the doctors at Animal Cancer Center of Texas that have provided encouragement and quality care over the last several months. We are grateful to every soul and cheerleader that has lent a helping hand.

This past Saturday, several helping hands joined to transport Henry all the way from 📍 New Albany, OH to 📍 Olmos Park, TX. We had made a plea for a “doggy caravan” on social media—and you guys delivered!!
Four kindhearted people, a handful of egg bites, a stop at Micky D’s, several potty breaks, and roughly 1,330 miles later…and Henry was back in the hands of his SNIPSA foster family. ✨ Shoutout to Christina, Patti, Sandy and Cherri for assisting in each leg of Henry’s journey. We can’t thank you enough for your efforts in getting this big, lovable lug home safely. ❤️
