Annie (Judy)

Today, we come to you with this awesome Rescue Tail about one of our recent rescues, Annie! This hefty pup originally came to us from Animal Care Services in San Antonio. When she was surrendered, she was just skin and bones, and it was evident she hadn’t had an easy time thus far. Upon her arrival at our clinic, we gave her the name Judy, and it took no more than a loving hand and a little bit of food for her to open up as the true sweetheart she is.

This girl is now enjoying a fresh start with her wonderful new humans, and she is sporting her new forever name: Annie! Here’s an update from her mom, Bobbye:

“Annie is settling in very nicely. She is so sweet and we just love her to death.  She is our big baby that thinks she’s a little baby, lol! Annie wants to sit in your lap or lay on you as much as possible. She had a few accidents in the beginning but now she knows to go to the door and let me know when she needs to go out. She absolutely loves her bed in her house. I only put her in there at night but sometimes she likes to just go in there anyway and lay down to rest. She gets along great with Wilson (Shipley) who we adopted a few years ago from y’all.”

We’ve been told that Annie also enjoys hanging out with the outside cats at her new home, and even their horses! She is the gentle giant of everyone’s dreams, and we’re so pleased that she found her forever home just before Christmas. Check out these heartwarming photos of Annie and Wilson with their pack.

We wish you the most wonderful life, Annie! You have some caring humans and a new fur-ever friend.
