Marnie (Spoon)
Once upon a time, there was a rescue puppy named Spoon! Yes, Spoon…you read that right! Originally from a litter of nine puppies known as the Utensil litter, Spoon stood out with her confident, cuddly and clever personality. We knew it wouldn’t be long before she found her forever home. Spoon’s lucky day came when the Puelo family spotted her on our SNIPSA website and placed an application for a meet and greet. Within minutes of getting acquainted, they knew she was the one!
Spoon, now lovingly named Marnie, has settled nicely into her forever home. She has impressed her family with her big brain and good manners. Her new mom, Bianca, couldn’t wait to tell us about their first couple of weeks together. “Marnie is so smart and already fully potty trained.” She reported. “She is very inquisitive and wants to explore everything.”
Marnie has also found her best furry friend, Lily. These two doggos love to cuddle up together after a good rough n’ tumble. They truly are the perfect match, according to Bianca. “Lily loves to engage in play with Marnie but isn’t shy to teach Marnie the family rules.” Bianca explained. “Lily has been so helpful, teaching Marnie boundaries, but is always mindful not to hurt Marnie.” Marine is fortunate that her new fur-friend is also her role model.
It’s incredible when one of our rescue dogs gets along with everyone in their new pack. We like to call it “a match made in heaven!” The Puleo family has found the perfect addition to their home, and Marine has found the perfect family to give her the life she deserves.
A final thought from Bianca: “Lily has exceeded our expectations tenfold! Marnie is our silly little goose who has found a LOVE for all of Lily’s old toys and my wicker baskets.”
